We say the The Gayatri together when we meet at the start and end of our healing days.
We are all familiar with the sun. The vibrant sphere of hot plasma which is the source of the energy which supports and sustains life on Mother Earth. The Gayatri reveals the spiritual entity for which this "disc of golden light" is home. When we repeat the Gayatri, we are re-affirming our connection with this great healing being.
O Thou Who givest sustenance to the universe,
From Whom all things proceed,
To Whom all things return,
Unveil to us the face of the true Spiritual Sun,
Hidden by a disc of golden Light,
That we may know the Truth
And do our whole duty
As we journey to Thy sacred feet.
